Maintenance & Reliability
Start with the right tools and you'll start improving maintenance.
Maintenance & Reliability Services has built up an extensive set of Best Practices and implements both general maintenance methods such as TPM, RCM and FMECA and specific maintenance methods like those developed in collaboration with individual organisations. The Best Practices are the result of a set of different tools that collectively form a cohesive whole. That cohesive whole is the maintenance and reliability engineer's work process.
Each of the tools works as a stand-alone entity, but, if applied correctly, also reinforces the other tools. An organisation can make an excellent start on an improvement process by implementing just one tool initially. A Maintenance Scan provides information that allows prioritisation and identification of where best to start. This scan determines how well an organisation performs in all the various sub processes and relates the result to the tools. This approach allows step-by-step implementation of continuous improvement.
