Corporate Community Involvement

Jet-Net: Youth and Technology Network

Leading Dutch technology companies and schools for senior general secondary education (HAVO)/pre-university education (VWO) have teamed up in Jet-Net, the Netherlands' Youth and Technology Network. Cooperation between the business community and education shows students that technology is challenging, useful and socially relevant. MaxGrip is a member of Jet-Net. Together with all Jet-Net companies, we contribute to the objective of the Science and Technology Platform (Platform Beta Techniek): In 2010, there was a 15% higher outflow of students from science and technology education (compared to 2000) and a better utilisation of existing talent in businesses and research institutions. Alpe d'HuZes

On Thursday 9 June 2011 in the French village of Bourg d'Oisans, a large group of cyclists have started the serious sports challenge: climbing the Alpe d'Huez six times! The event served as a fund raiser on behalf of KWF Kankerbestrijding, the Dutch association for cancer prevention. MaxGrip offers support through the participation of Jacco Gnodde, who lives in Houten. Jacco completed the challenge twice before, in 2009 and 2010.

The NASPRI Foundation

The NASPRI foundation is a Dutch organisation advocating the proper use of water in the town Valencia in the Philippines. NASPRI was established in 2006, with MaxGrip providing startup capital and advice. The funds raised through sponsoring are used to improve water management in the area and to improve the local population's knowledge about using water responsibly.
